So just like every other week, I publish a new ebook. But this week I published two new ebooks and that tripled my total amount of sales per day. Extremely happy I thought to myself: How could this happen? In this article I’ll share my best tip to really rocket your ebook sales, which I think has tripled my amount! This is what my Amazon Kindle sales figure looks, maybe your sales chart will look like this in a while:

I heard a lot about people making money online with Kindle Publishing. They said it was the fastest and easiest way to make money online. This sounded great and I immediately started writing my first ebook. This first ebook went terrible, and so did the second and the third. I wanted to give up but then I found the course Kindle Money Mastery (full review ). This course really helped me with the marketing of my ebooks and told me that niche selection was extremely important. From that point on I published some ebooks who targeted a profitable niche with not much competition, and I began to make some sales!
After some time when you have some ebooks published, which are in a niche without a lot competition, you will make moderate sales. (I think like 10 sales a day is pretty moderate 😉 )
This also has to do with niche selection:
“Stay with a niche that works!”
When you publish an ebook and you make a lot of sales with it, stay in that niche! Maybe if you are like me I didn’t bother looking into niches, and into what works and what doesn’t. I just wrote books about everything, and I jumped from niche to niche. But now I found a niche that sells like crazy, and I stick with it. Now when I publish some more books in this niche, I know I keep selling like crazy! This has two reasons.
Firstly, because you already published a book in this niche you know for sure that it’s a great niche. Which means there are a lot of interested people and low competition. This is of course what you are trying to find out in the first phase, the niche selection. But you can never know for sure if a niche is right. You will know this for sure when you have published a book. If it sells a lot, it’s a great niche!
Secondly, because you sold a lot of books you will build an audience. A lot of sales (and great reviews) means that your book helps people, and you will be seen as an expert! When you publish another book, especially the people who bought your before will also be more likely to buy your second one. This can happen when you stick to one niche, that you become an expert in that niche and that you can build an audience who loves you!
This is one little tip, but can have a huge impact. So your action plan should be:
As you see a great part of Kindle publishing is about experimenting. You can’t know for sure if a book will sell or not. But if you see that it does sell, don’t write totally different books. Stay in that niche and write similar books, for the same people!
So now, get to work! Triple your sales amount!
